A cross-functional contract with NI’s main further education provider
Northern Regional College is the main provider of further education across four of the 11 council areas in Northern Ireland, covering a population of over 560,000. It offers a comprehensive range of qualifications for school leavers, full and part-time courses for adults, apprenticeships, professional qualifications and university accredited courses as well as providing a range of business services to support the business community.
Northern Regional College teach over 10,000 students – 5,500 further education, 1,000 higher education and nearly 1,000 apprentices. Many of the lecturers continue to work as industry professionals and offer extensive knowledge and experience of their specialist area helping to equip students with the knowledge and skills they need to prepare them for the world of work. The College has extensive well-equipped workshops and classrooms with the latest equipment and facilities to meet industry standards.
Mount Charles delivers the Cleaning, Portering and Ancillary Services at a number of Northern Regional College’s campuses, as well as the Catering and Vending services.
Mount Charles’ bespoke catering brand Urban Square, is present in NRC Newtownabbey and NRC Magherafelt, providing a wide range of balanced meals suited to all tastes and dietary requirements.
Mount Charles cleans a wide range of areas in this contract including buildings and mobiles, offices, workshops, laboratories, classrooms, toilets, corridors, staircases, stores, foyer, lecture theatres and gymnasiums.
As well as a daily clean we also provide a reactive cleaning service for any ad hoc requests.
