Investing in tomorrow: Mount Charles champions future leaders with £500,000 investment

At Mount Charles, we’re committed to investing in our people, and we’re proud to launch our Leadership Academy and Mentoring Programme—a significant step in nurturing future leaders within our business.

As part of our talent management and succession planning strategy, this bespoke programme represents a £500,000 investment in developing our team members. Recognised by the Chartered Management Institute (CMI), it’s designed to ensure that our strategic vision, values, and purpose remain at the heart of everything we do.

In March 2025, our first cohort of 60 team members will embark on their leadership journey, becoming pioneers in shaping the next generation of leaders at Mount Charles. The programme offers a structured development path, guiding participants through multiple skill-building tiers—from mentoring level to bronze, silver, gold, and platinum—all fully sponsored and accredited by CMI.

Through this initiative, we aim to enhance self-awareness, emotional intelligence, and leadership skills, equipping our people with the tools they need to lead with confidence and impact.

This exciting launch follows the announcement of our ambitious 2025-2030 strategy, which includes a £10 million investment plan and the creation of 2,000 new jobs across the island of Ireland. With our workforce already exceeding 3,000 team members, we anticipate growing to around 5,000 as we continue to expand.

As our five-year strategy unfolds, the Leadership Academy and Mentoring Programme will play a key role in developing our people, reinforcing our long-term commitment to professional growth and excellence.
